Camping trip

My winter hike or it turns out to sleep in the winter on the street is not cold :)
The composition of the group is according to the list provided by V. Zyabin: Zeleny, Quasik, Ruslan, Kolya, Dima, Zhenya, Zhenya, Masha, Yana, Dina, Nastya, Olesya, Denis, Artyom, Igor ... and someone else. Ahhh .. Anya! :)

For me, the trip began at 9 in the morning, when Kolya and his girlfriend Nastya called for me. On the way, we grabbed Artyom and the pedal to the floor, checked out an hour later than everyone else.
About 2.5 hours of the road, Artyom and I spent under the rubble of backpacks and rugs. I don’t know how he is, but I slept almost the whole way. At the turn to Sergeevka they caught up with the first car. After 40 minutes, the last car joined us, the passengers of which, as it turned out, were already running for the Kalancha hill for the sake of workouts.

In full force, we proceeded to the base, where we left our personal transport and transferred to ZIL-157, 1958, with a driver.
Again, I slept all the way to the camp in the front seat under the tearing growl of a monster’s iron car, which - this was news to me - blew and blew itself rubber, depending on the ground !!! And only on the way back I learned from our driver the details of the map of the area: that we were driving through the forests and fields of Alekseyevka, that we were driving through the skeletons of the foundations of the houses of the long-abandoned village of Alekseyevsky, that we were driving along the Alekseyevka river through the keys Alekseyevsky, Sinitsyn, Zolotoy, Gireenkin, Soviet and Chinese, past the spills of the river to the Right and Left Alekseevki.

Having reached the headwaters of the Left Alekseevka, they set up camp. Vladimir immediately distributed tasks, responsibilities and designated those on duty in the kitchen. Beginners went to learn to put up a winter tent and install a stove in it. The rest - for harvesting and chopping wood.

Kolya and I, on duty at lunch, prepared saury soup. In the beginning I was packed to the full in a hat, gloves, mittens and a ski suit. In the process of "dancing" around the campfire, winter equipment melted before our eyes, and in the end, only jeans and a sweater remained. Finally, firewood has been prepared, dinner is ready, people are also ready to take food.

After lunch, we finished with firewood and the group going to the cave Primorsky Giant began to gather. Vladimir, Alexander, Ruslan, Igor, Nikolai, Denis, Olesya and Eugene in full readiness about seven hours moved out of the camp. We stayed to bask around the fire and get to know each other better.

By nine o’clock, under the leadership of the camp’s commandant, they decided to go to the White Palace cave, because they hadn’t gone on a hike? The entrance to the cave, quite wide, is located in an array of white limestones of the rocky western slope of Mount Constantinople. From the entrance hall at its base there is a hole in the form of a low horizontal slit, which we overcome by crawling. After about 5 meters, the slot turns west and enters the so-called "boiler" (extension of the connecting entrance).

Further, the course takes the form of a vertical crack up to 8 m high and 1.2 m wide. After 35 m, overcome by crawling in intricate poses, they entered the main hall, almost 50 m long. In the arches of the hall, little bats slept everywhere. A short walk around the hall, take pictures and back to the stars and fresh air.

They returned, sat a little longer by the fire, and the next couple of attendants set about preparing dinner. By half past eleven, dinner was ready and half eaten. We began to prepare for bed: to heat the stove, to lay out rugs and sleeping bags, to distribute the queue for night shifts by the stove. About half past twelve our cavemen returned: they had supper, laughed and decided how to sleep so as not to heat the stove and at the same time not to die in the morning :)

Finally, at our tent, it was time for sleep and stokers on duty for an hour and a half. Artyom was the first to heat the stove. After him - me. Then Masha and further on the list: Yana, Denis and Dima - already in the morning closing. I slept fine. Despite the fact (as it turned out in the morning) that at night during the transfer of duty the stove went out, then it was heated again, it smoked ... it was still warm and comfortable (at least to me :))

In the morning we went up to breakfast. After breakfast, everyone went uphill to the cave of the Musk deer. Then Sasha solemnly burned his old boots and a robe that had been worn by someone. By 14.00 we are calmly moving a fairly thick log !!! - rolled up our ZIL. And on the way back - through the keys, forests, fields, past an abandoned village to the base.

And there, by car and on the road to the Kalancha hill, to which it was decided to climb, in order to put an end to this campaign, contemplating the sunset from a height of 539 m. The hillside is very steep and slippery in places. Then the sticks came in handy. Not everyone reached the top. And those who got it have tea with nuts, a beautiful view, sunset and a memory photo. Then the same steep and slippery descent and again on the road.

The last exact trip was the Dardanelles cafe, where dinner and flight debriefing took place. And go home. And so our two-day campaign in the Partizansky district ended.
