With me it counts but in the end I get nothing paid. For the time being, I stopped using it. The app was frequently frozen and annoying is you have to delete it an download again. With my connection that takes me hours, sometimes days.
Next they sent you a sms.
That sms is also seldom arriving which means it takes me 1-2 days trying till I have it.
I had to do this several times.
It does not run great on Android although the say it does on Samsung but the faq says something else.
Changing the settings was of no help with me. 🤔

P.s. I also think it dus not count steps you take up and down the street or garden or if you walk in a circle (I have a big garden).

Even i have had a negative user experience! Not a huge fan of the UI/UX.. and it lags tremendously...
