So sorry to hear this man. One of my cats has been struggling with health issues (he's fine) and just thinking about that potential scenario has been one of the most painful experiences of my life. You clearly love her very much so I'm certain you have filled her life with joy and given that we will all face the same fate, that's about the most anyone can do for another being.
Thx brother. It’s funny...from the first moment I brought my first boy Bandit home and then added one by one to the pack, I always thought I’d have pups in my life. Even after losing my 2 boys in 2015 and then last year, I still felt that I’d eventually open up my heart again.
But this specific experience with my girl Bindi has been so trying and tough. Just brutal. I feel like my heart is being ripped out every day and I just do not know if I can do it again. Even after Bindi is gone, I’ll luckily still have my last girl Maya by my side. But once she’s gone...I’m taking a long hiatus from adding or starting a new pack again. The loss is just too painful.
I hope your angel is with you for a long time still. Wishing good health and a fulfilled life for him. Sounds like you have a soft spot like myself for them which is great to see. Always a good judge of character in my book.
