Last year, we announced that HockeyApp features and functionality would move to Visual Studio App Center, a single solution for continuously building, testing, releasing, and monitoring your apps. Because HockeyApp distribution, crash reporting, and analytics services are now available in App Center, HockeyApp will be retired on November 16, 2019.

To make this transition easy, we’ve already started syncing your apps between HockeyApp and App Center. We’ve also built a side-by-side experience that allows you to work on HockeyApp apps in both App Center and HockeyApp. You must be fully transitioned by November 16, 2019; however, we encourage you to make the switch sooner to gain the more powerful benefits of App Center, including:

•Build, Test, and Push services exclusive to App Center.•Timesaving new features such as iOS auto-provisioning, handled errors, and integration with public app stores.•A more intuitive, navigable interface.
Recommended action
Prepare for your move by signing in to App Center with your HockeyApp credentials and using the side-by-side experience. You’ll have until November 16, 2019, when HockeyApp will be retired, to completely transition to App Center.
