Never late again with this APP: The most gentle alarm clock!

I don't know about you, but when I sleep, I SLEEP. It's like I'm in a different universe and even when the alarm goes off in the morning I have difficulties with getting up very early and always feel like I'm being woken up at the worst possible moment, when I'm in the deepest dream and it feels like somebody throws me against the wall, when my alarm goes off.

Even though I have a routine and somehow manage to roll out of bed, to the coffee machine after my alarm goes off, I know there are many people who just like I used to in High School, hit the snooze button and have an alarm go off every 5 minutes for an hour long.

 

Well, TODAY I'm changing your life, whether you're a snoozer, or someone who can get up when the alarm goes off, but feels totally kicked out of their dreams some mornings.
All of this ends with the introduction of this APP:

Sidenote: I am in no way a paid advert for the APP, I do not get paid (even though I should) for writing this blogpost, but I just want to share with you what I discovered and my amazement for it.

I have used the APP now for 3 days, and it has replaced my alarm clock for me.
I love it so much, because it is such a gentle sound and perfect time, when it wakes me up.
It doesn't interrupt your dreams, because you give it a time-span of when you want to be woken up, like let's say latest 7:00 AM. The APP will analyze your sleep and wake you up at the perfect time between 6:30 and 7:00 AM.

At first I was skeptical, like anybody would about the promises of the APP, but just take a look at what other very reliable sources had to say about the invention:

The result is so gentle and lovely it feels like being woken up by a mermaid stoking your hair or a unicorn nuzzling your toes.

How does it work?

The following information, is very straight to the point, you can read it on their website (www.sleepcycle.com), but I want to give you the main points, you might be wondering about:

Waking up easy is all about timing. Sleep Cycle alarm clock tracks your sleep patterns and wakes you up during light sleep. Waking up during light sleep feels like waking up naturally rested without an alarm clock.

Sleep Cycles

While you sleep, you go through cycles of sleep states. The first state in a sleep cycle is light sleep, followed by deep sleep and a dream state referred to as REM-sleep. A full sleep cycle lasts about 90 minutes and is normally repeated several times each night.

Your movements vary with each sleep phase. Sleep Cycle uses sound analysis to identify sleep states by tracking movements in bed. Sleep Cycle uses a wake up phase (30 minutes by default) that ends at your desired alarm time. During this phase Sleep Cycle will monitor signals from your body to wake you softly, when you are in the lightest possible sleep state.

Snooze

Snooze by simply double-tapping on the phone. Picking up the phone will also automatically snooze. Sleep Cycle has two snooze modes: Intelligent snooze lets you snooze through your wake up phase. Each snooze duration becomes shorter, gently bringing you from asleep to completely awake at your desired alarm time. Regular snooze lets you choose a specific snooze time between 1-20 minutes. You can snooze an unlimited number of times. You can change modes under Settings. Snooze can also be completely disabled.

The APP  truly is a lifesaver and before wondering IF it really works, I suggest you try it out for one night and experience it yourself.

Very true, and I'm still not a morning person, but this APP manages to make it much easier to get up, it is so gentle. Yes def do that. See you later :)
