The D Files With @bobaphet and @eftnow - Social Anxiety and Empathy

in #anxiety6 years ago

Greetings DTubiverse!

Today, @bobaphet and @eftnow discussed how social anxiety can link to empathy and some of the ways that people who are especially tuned in can learn how to maintain balance and alignment in their life.

This is really important, as people who are energetically sensitive can struggle until they become conscious of whats going on and create positive strategies to maintain their own boundaries and personal power.

We are all able to be empathic and being able to tune in is a real gift. However, it is then really important not to be an energetic pushover as a result.

Also, check out @bobaphet previous VLOG on this here - https://steemit.com/philosophy/@bobaphet/9qvrcd43

He will also be releasing some information on some great ways to maintain your energetic and emotional integrity.

If you want to learn the simple and incredibly powerful ways to use EFT tapping to resolve anxiety, as well as shed unhelpful energetic attachments, you can do so here - https://eftnow.co.uk/tapping-for-anxiety/

And, a shout out to @@@hippie-witha-gun for asking us to cover this subject in the #dfiles

The truth is in there!

Empathy is really important, we really have to understand people before we judge them about something, some people don't even care about that and just tell them what they think. Glad you both understand that, nice collaboration. ☺

Thanks clixy, I'm glad that you get it ;)
Peace.

Hey thanks for the shout out guys! You all are AWESOME!!! Great video and I look forward to more talks on this subject. Great work! I resteemed the other post before realizing that this was posted twice but I did resteem it.

My problem is I am very self conscious. I'm autistic and have real bad tics sometimes. I have Tourette's, but not the severe case or "copralalia" as it is called. I just have a filthy mouth LOL. So growing up I always (and still do) shy away from people. It was 5 years ago that I was finally able to confirm this disorder so the past few years I've learned to not be so self conscious letting my guard down a little. I've noticed that people still don't notice the tics for the most part. Unless you are always looking at me, and interacted with me on a daily basis, you would never even know I had this disorder.

I brought to life Rainbow Man as a way to put myself out there to help brighten peoples day around me. If you can see past the profanity of my comedy act you see that really all I am trying to do is enlighten others even if it means alienating myself for the good of the whole.

Peace guys!

Great stuff man, I think when people are uncomfortable with the way another person expresses themselves, that says more about them, than about the person "making" them uncomfortable :P
Peace.

I follow you, I hope for your reciprocity

Wow how great... Thank you for creating something that touches such an important problem which nobody really talk about. It's absolutely great. Thank you for sharing it with us 🙂
