Companies like apple and samsung who are in this race to get the world on one device are probably the cause of depletion in resources. Some people can't get the concept that phones are not "built" in factories. They are manufactured from natural resources, one we all call money. Gold.

Absolutely, but I'm sure you're also aware that's only a small aspect of the entire problem
