Antminer R4
So the new R4 is set for home use, we shall see when we find out the cost. by my calculations if it's over £500, then it's not worth it. My S7-LN is slowly becoming non profit at each difficulty increase. So, bitcoin wallet prepared to buy the new R4....if it's cheap enough.
I thin you shall buy R4, some people in hashnest are complaining about bitmain s7 ASIC. S7 is becoming not worthy and not give profit for miner or cloud miner :)
The S7 is a power beast, agreed. I have the S7-LN, this only runs at 2.7Th but has a much lower power and is very efficient, this I can see though will not be running at profit in a few months time. And I also agree, that the R4 is the one to buy, but not if it's £1000! It would be impossible to pay off if the price is over £500, or approx 1.2BC. If it goes up for 1BC, then I'll be ordering it straight away.
So 1300 USD! forget it.
That's £1066! way too dear. That would never return it's value unless you were on solar.
That's like 4x the price of my LN and only 3 times faster.
