Where did the cannon come from? It is said that the cannon was made in Macau in the 16th century by the Purtugis named N.T. Bocarro. Then the Portuguese used the cannon to defend his power in Malacca.

The name of the Jagur is probably because the first gun was first placed in the castle of St. Jago de Barra before being transferred to the City of Malacca by the Portuguese.
