Movies that Insult Prophets Muhammad Allowed to Air on Youtube

An anti-Muslim film entitled Innocence of Muslims has been granted permission to re-run via the Youtube social networking site. The film containing the insulting content of Prophet Muhammad SAW was previously banned in the past year.

However, due to the appeals made by the filmmakers who argue with the copyright law, the court finally allowed the film to run again.

The United States Federal Court of Appeals that overturned the ban on film screenings only ordered Google and Youtube to censor controversial parts that could provoke a fuss, not only in America but internationally.

"We hope the film is censored, based on the theory of this unprecedented in a copyright," said Justice Court Judge M Margaret McKeown, quoted by the BBC, Wednesday (5/20).

Google party also admitted happy with the court decision that gave permission for this controversial movie. Google considers a court decision last year that banned the film is a violation of copyright law.

"We are pleased with this latest verdict, We have long believed that the previous rulers were abuse of copyright law," said one Google spokesman.
