Penguins waddling down their highway
Well, they are very adorable when you take a seat and watch these little guys waddle their way back and forth from their nest to the coast line to forage time after time at a breeding colony. Here I was at Port Charcot on Booth Island in the Antarctic peninsula, where all 3 species of brush tail penguins can be seen. As you can see they do have well used highways that they use in single line when traveling back and forth.
They are cute but they do smell and unless you have been lucky enough or unlucky enough to be in the presence of 20,000 plus breeding penguins than there are no words I can provide here that can truly capsulate that indeed distance odor.
