Jute is the main food crop in Bangladesh. 80% of jute produced in the world is born in Bangladesh. Such fine jute like Bangladesh is not produced in any country of the world. Bangladesh earns millions of foreign currency by exporting jute abroad every year from the country.

Jute trees are such a plant. The tree is 5/8 cubits in length and 1/2 inch in height. Jute trees do not have stalks. Only a few pages are seen on the head. Jute is good in the land where the water is accumulated and the silt falls.

Bangladesh is very low in its land as it is a riverine country. That is why there are a lot of good quality jute grown in here. In addition to Bangladesh, there are also some jute produced in West Bengal, Egypt and America. However, there is no such jute anywhere in Bangladesh. Jute flourished in Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Comilla, Pabna and Rangpur districts of Bangladesh.

Even though 80% of the world's jute is produced in our country, there were no jute mill before 151 in this country. At that time, on the basis of Bangladesh, there were 105 jute mills in India and many jute mill in England. In 1951, the first largest jute mill in Bangladesh, 'Adamjee jute mill' was established.

In the month of Falgun-Chia, the soil of this land is cultivated by cultivating jute seeds. After a few days of sowing out of seed, weeding has to be cleaned. And the fertilizer is to pay. And consequently the trees grow rapidly.
In recent years jute cultivation is done in 10 lakh acres of land every year. The number of jute calls currently 154 in the country. Government jute mills are 27 and 127 are non-governmental.

In Bangladesh about 30 to 5 million farmers are involved in jute cultivation. About two lakh workers are employed in government, non-governmental districts. According to Department of Patterns, the export of jute exported abroad in the year 2006-2007 fiscal year has been increased to Tk 2,350 crore. It is more than the previous years.

If the jute tree is full, then Sraban-Bhadra is harvested in the month. Cut and cut in small pots or water in a thick pond or water 20-25 days to be drowned. For example: sapling, sacks, carpets, various types of ropes, bags and sins, jute blankets, curtains, sparkling yarn, geomut etc. have resulted in huge economic potential of jute. Paper can also be made from jute.

The foam is spread from the jute and the precious cloth is cleaned. We use jute chalks as fuel. The poor people give the fencing fence. The leaves of jute are very beneficial. The medicines are made from jute leaves. Jute plays an important role in the development of the economy of Bangladesh.
