Adult High School Diploma Program - Steemit - Prologue

I am enjoying myself, being able to restudy all the things I have learned from years back. In 1999 I would've been able to obtain my high school diploma. I could've been a part of the 1st graduating class of Mesa Ridge High in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The universe and its toughness for some reason didn't want me to finish then, and has suddenly wanted me to finish it now. The day after my 18th birthday, the system of the state said they couldn't keep me in foster care any more.

I was in my Senior year, and was doing OK at the start of 18, living on the street due to not having money, trying to finish school at the same time. It became too much, and I ended up dropping out before the 2nd semester could begin.

Here I am though, 36, and moving forward with high school. I only had to make up 15 credits + 5 more as an elective to complete the requirement of the course for my residency.

I actually have to thank the universe for letting me be able to do school now, because it gives me something to do. :)
