Apparently there's some people who got way too excited with the potential of decentralization that they are thinking of it as a promise instead.
Cryptocurrencies aren't going anywhere, the industry will grow, but Bitcoin or Steem or any other technology can't do anything for us unless we let them.

Steem is one year old today and I'm pretty happy about that, it should be a time of reflection, we should all go over our intentions and our vision for it. Steemit can be whatever we want it to be, but it can't satisfy all our needs.
