Sounds to me you are very old fashioned, no not old fashioned... My grannies we're more modern and had way more self esteem and courage as the women you describe and want those women to be.

Father a role model, mother under pressured by the father/husband?
If you want to go back to those times (did they ever exist?) men better start working, take their responsibilities and provide their family plus show respect.

Great example men beating up their wives, running out, let women provide in their needs.

You better ask how come men are not able to have a relationship with adult women. Women who went to school, have self esteem and an opinion of their own.
