Anime Character Drawing Challenge 動漫人物畫畫比賽

今天早上看到 @htliao 舉辦的動漫人物畫畫比賽，心中立即閃過一定要參加的念頭。其實我不是動漫迷，可是也有一兩部喜歡的動漫畫作，其中一部就是《新世紀福音戰士》。

Today I saw the Amine Drawing Contest held by @htliao and I decided to give it a try. I am an ACG fans but there are comics I am really addicted to. It is the 'Neon Genesis Evangelion'.

不知道大家有沒有看過這部漫畫，因為它在兩岸也好像不算是熱門的那些，或是大家都可能還年紀太輕未有聽過（哭哭 ）。它是日本動畫大師庵野秀明及貞本義行的得意之作，大概講述的故事是未來人類的世界不斷被不知名的怪獸入侵，人類開發出泛用人型機器人EVA用以對抗怪獸。以前小時候就是喜歡它的機器人，慢慢長大了才明白漫畫的背後還有很多包括對宗教、哲學、心理學等多方面的探討，絕對不只是一部單單用作消遣的圖畫集。雖然它的世界觀是比較複雜，我看了幾次也不完全明白，但這樣才是它引人入勝之處。

I wonder if you guys would know about the comic because I think it is not such a popular one as the One Piece or Dragonball. The story tells about how mankind defense the world from unknown creature with the man-look alike robots called the Evangelion (EVA). I love the comic because of the ideas and the robots, as well the beautiful drawn scenes.

甚至有些人還指荷里活的大片《環太平洋》也是參考《新》漫的劇本呢。

Some even say the movie Pacific Rim was kinda referring to the Evangelion.

決定參加這個比賽，除了是因為有喜歡的漫畫，也是因為它喚起了我的回憶。

初次看這部漫畫已經是上中學的時代了，那時還有一群同樣喜歡看的好友。記得當時我買了一本單行本，大家都嚷著要看。其實要輪流看也不是問題，問題是當時的網絡技術沒有現在的好，上網也是要用56K的，更甭說智能手機了。當時我們都事前約定好時間地點，每次交收都要大費周章的，但也正正成為相聚的時機，大伙趁機去吃吃喝喝聊聊天。那些年啊，簡簡單單的好不快樂。

這是我珍藏的漫畫單行本第一期，現在已很難在市面買到了。

我還有它的合金模型，當時是真的好喜歡這部漫畫啊。

漫畫裡的世界是設定在公元2013年，記得小時候還會在想2013年是何等遠的未來，原來眨眨眼就差不多到2018年了，白駒過隙啊。

現在有好些朋友自從上大學都少了聯絡，各人也有各人的忙，想想看，也差不多是時候了。寫好這篇文章，我就去訊息他們，哈哈。

感謝讓我記起以往看過的漫畫，感受曾經有過的熱血青春。

Participating in the contest did recall my memory of my school days. Friends of our liked the comic so much. And every time we need to gather out with the said time and place, as there was no smart phone back to the days. The old days were simple but definitely the most happiest time for us. Today we have less gathering as before because of the busy lives but I am not going to do nth for it. Friends, I will call you right after writing this post, let's meet up!

畫畫了!
Let's draw!

我選擇了用漫畫中最有代表性的政府機關NERV的LOGO，配合我最喜歡的初號機，組成一幅圖畫。

I decided to combine the logo of Nerv (The important Government Department in the comic) and the EVE unit 01 to make the picture.

Nerv's Logo

Step 1.
先用鉛筆畫出NERV的LOGO

Draw the Nerv's Logo with pencil

Step 2.
於LOGO上的楓葉畫上EVA初號機
Draw the EVA Unit 01 in the leaf

Step 3.
為EVA添上陰影等細節

Add the details such as shadow

Step 4.
寫上LOGO底的句子 （這個才是最難...）

Write the sentence under the logo. I thought it was the most difficult part....

Step 5.
用Marker照樣畫圖，擦掉鉛筆，這時其實已算完成

Draw the picture with the marker and erase the pencil line. Done!

完成的黑白圖好像有點寡，所以我決定用木顏色為它添上色彩。

And I painted it to have a colored version.
