As an anime lover, I am very excited about the #animedrawingchallenge hosted by @htliao. In this challenge, we can imagine anime characters that we like the most. I want to participate in this contest, and I want to include one of my favorite anime characters from Digimon Adventure. He is a digimon who has the power of "friendship crest" in this anime series, he is MetalGarurumon.

Dalam challenge ini, kita bisa berimajinasi tentang karakter anime yang paling kita sukai. Saya ingin berpartisipasi dalam kontes ini, dan saya ingin mengikutsertakan salah satu karakter anime favorit saya dari Digimon Adventure. Dia adalah pemilik lambang persahabatan dalam serial anime tersebut, dia adalah MetalGarurumon.

FLASHBACK

MetalGarurumon is the mega-level evolution from Gabumon, a digimon partnered with Yamato Ishida, the owner of friendship crest. Yamato is the quietest person among the other elected children. But behind the nature of his silence, Yamato is a figure who is very concerned about friends and the environment around him. Then he deserves the crest of friendship, according to his true nature.

MetalGarurumon merupakan evolusi level mega dari Gabumon, digimon yang berpartner dengan Yamato Ishida, pemilik crest persahabatan. Yamato merupakan sosok yang paling pendiam diantara anak-anak terpilih lainnya. Namun dibalik sifat diamnya itu, Yamato adalah sosok yang sangat peduli terhadap sahabat dan lingkungan disekitarnya. Maka pantaslah ia mendapatkan crest persahabatan, sesuai dengan sifat aslinya.

The evolution of Gabumon into MetalGarurumon occurred when Gabumon and Agumon, who had reached the champion level (WereGarurumon and MetalGreymon), had trouble fighting with VenomVamdemon, one of the dark digimon bosses. They are defeated and return to their original form (Gabumon and Agumon), because they are facing an enemy that is too strong. However, they are not discouraged. They were reminded of the ancient prophecy presented by Gennai, then they found a way to defeat VenomVamdemon.

Evolusi Gabumon menjadi MetalGarurumon terjadi ketika Gabumon dan Agumon yang saat itu sudah mencapai level champion (WereGarurumon dan MetalGreymon) kesulitan melawan VenomVandemon, salah satu bos digimon kegelapan. Karena menghadapi musuh yang terlalu kuat, mereka kalah dan kembali ke bentuk awal (Gabumon dan Agumon). Namun, mereka tidak patah semangat. Mereka teringat akan ramalan kuno yang disampaikan oleh Gennai, kemudian mereka pun menemukan cara untuk mengalahkan VenomVandemon.

Angemon and Angewomon threw the force of "the arrows of hope" and "the arrows of light" to Yamato and Taichi, which made their crest strength stronger enough to make Gabumon and Agumon evolve into mega levels into MetalGarurumon and Wargreymon. With these new powers, they finally succeeded in paralyzing VenomVamdemon. (If you want to see more clearly how it happened, you can watch Digimon Adventure episode 38 :D ).

Angemon dan Angewomon melemparkan kekuatan "panah harapan" dan "panah cahaya" kepada Yamato dan Taichi, yang membuat kekuatan crest mereka menjadi lebih kuat hingga membuat Gabumon dan Agumon berevolusi ke level mega menjadi MetalGarurumon dan Wargreymon. Dengan kekuatan baru tersebut, akhirnya mereka berhasil melumpuhkan VenomVamdemon. LET'S TO DRAW!!

Now, I will explain how to draw the MetalGarurumon characters according to my version. Let's see it!

Sekarang, saya akan menjelaskan bagaimana cara menggambar karakter MetalGarurumon versi saya.

1. Basic Draw

First, draw the character shape details. Begin drawing from the head to the bottom of the body. / Pertama, gambarkan detail bentuk karakter. Mulailah menggambar dari bagian kepala hingga ke bagian tubuh paling bawah.

After the basic image is finished, bold the outline of each limb. This step is necessary for the shape and texture of the body look more clear and perfect. / Setelah gambar dasar selesai, pertebal garis luar dari tiap anggota tubuh. Langkah ini diperlukan agar bentuk dan tekstur tubuh terlihat lebih sempurna.

2. Colouring

The next step is colouring. Colour the image according to the original character. If you can not find the exact same colour pencil, can look for alternate colours that resemble. / Langkah selanjutnya adalah mewarnai. Berikan warna pada gambar sesuai dengan karakter aslinya. Jika tidak bisa menemukan pensil warna yang sama persis, bisa mencari alternatif warna yang menyerupai.

3. Editing

After the colouring process is complete, the next step is editing. This step I think is important, so the colour quality becomes better and clearer. On this step, I also added the name MetalGarurumon and his crest logo to make it look more perfect. The editing process uses PIXLR applications.

Setelah proses mewarnai selesai, langkah selanjutnya adalah pengeditan. Langkah ini menurut saya penting, agar kualitas warna menjadi lebih bagus dan lebih jelas. Pada tahap ini, saya juga menambahkan nama MetalGarurumon dan logo crest miliknya agar terlihat lebih sempurna. Proses pengeditan menggunakan aplikasi PIXLR.
