Just Why??? T_T

So at the moment, I'm watching an anime called Aoki Densetsu Shoot! It's another soccer anime that was aired 2 years after I was born.. lol... Yeah... It was aired around 1993, but I feel like watching it anyway. I love the art style of anime and manga from those days. I have a mangaka that I really admire. That mangaka's name is Adachi Mitsuru and he has written a lot of sports manga especially baseball. I really like his style because not only will you learn about the sports, but he can bring out all the "feels" in your system.

He wasn't the one who created Aoki Densetsu Shoot! but the way the story is so far is super similar. I don't know if it's a thing in those days... but... but... why did they kill awesome characters???? T_T It's so heartbreaking! Aoki Densetsu Shoot! was written by Tsukasa Ooshima, by the way. Well, they didn't kill the main character... (of course), but they killed a really valuable character.





This character is Yoshiharu Kubo of Aoki Densetsu Shoot! He was the senpai of the main character... Well, more than a senpai, he was the main character's idol. He went to that school to play soccer with him... and yet. T_T The happiest moment ended as a tragedy. Kubo became a legend when he delivered the ball from their goal all the way to the opponent's goal passing all 11 players!!! I even checked who "Maradona" is because of it! It was like watching "Touch" (baseball anime/manga by Adachi Mitsuru) all over again. He killed the main character's brother.

Why did they kill them? Is it because they might outshine the main characters if they continued living? Will they be a threat? I just can't.... xD

Sorry for ranting.. I'll continue watching now. I just can't stop myself from quickly sketching Kubo-san after he died on that episode. I hope I can take on more "feels" from this anime. Despite saying these things, I might like Tsukasa Ooshima as much as I like Adachi Mitsuru. They both know how to trigger my sleeping heart. See you next time!
