Hello friends, although it is true that I have seen and enjoyed more animes than mangas throughout my hobby, I have to mention that on many occasions I prefer the manga, especially in those situations in which the adaptation of the story that I enjoy in the moment (in animation) leaves many loose ends.

I recently recalled those animes that I saw years ago I came to mind one that I found interesting in his period of fame, Another, a horror and gore anime of 2012 that basically deals with a curse that occurs in class 3-3 of the Institute named Yomiyama of the North, in which every month, a student of the class, teacher or relative of these, dies of sudden and horrible form (suicide, illness or accident), all caused by the death of a very popular student in 1972 named Misaki that generated so much impact in the class, that in the end everyone decided to pretend that he was alive.

Seeing the anime and looking really good and engaging (although short and without much depth), I was curious to read the manga to see if this adaptation is faithful enough not to be criticized; yesterday I took a look, today I read it full and I was like: THE ANIME IS VERY BAD!, why?, because compared to the original story, the anime for its short duration skips data and important events, AND NOT ONLY THAT !, even in the anime change the personalities and appearances of the characters.

This has impressed me so much, that it motivated me to make this post.

Why is reading manga better or just as good as anime?

I do not know how many times I've heard the classic commentaries and comparisons between manga and anime. Throughout time, I've heard all kinds of blasphemies:
The anime is better because it has color and quality.

The anime outperforms the manga because the characters are animated.

The manga is boring.

The action in the manga is not well contemplated.

THAT IT'S NOT TRUE!

Manga, despite its ''monochromatic style'', is incredibly beautiful and detailed; without the need for sounds or colors that show the emotions or events that occur, they come to us through the vignettes and intensities of brightness or contrast of the drawings made with much effort by author.

Next I will place 4 reasons why you should read

Manga is a Japanese term to refer to comics or cartoon. Although in Japan that word is used for all industry in general (even the Western), outside of this is used only for the comics created in this Asian country so interesting.*** More information at the end of the post***

Major events and better explanation of events

I do not even need to explain this point (quite crucial, by the way). The Anime have a limit of chapters (sometimes quite reduced for the number of events), threfore, industry must cut, synthesize and adapt the whole story so that everything fits in a logical and understandable; This is sometimes achieved wonderfully, And on other occasions is a complete disaster, skipping important scenes that explain reasons in which the story goes down a certain path.

It allows us to contemplate the original design and personality of the characters

Curious data such as hobbies, tastes, thoughts and psychology of the characters goes much deeper in the manga than in the anime. Here they can narrate the history and own perspective of the same with regard to the history in general, allowing us to see the detailed design (beautiful, hehe) and dialogs originally published by the author. This is important especially when a character captivates us and we want to know more about him.

You can get a vast amount of stories

Well, although there is also a massive amount of animated series (anime) not only made from manga but also videogames, we can also discover wonders that is not yet been adapted to anime.

We must not wait for the arrival of seasons and seasons

This happens to me a lot with series like Shingeki No kyojin, which in the manga continues and continues without interruptions and in the anime on the contrary, after 24 chapters it's cut and leave us waiting for an eternity.

And these are the differences that I notice most with respect to the manga, highlighting the fact that before judging you have to experience reading any of these; Maybe you will get used to it and even like it.
