With fantastic drawings you can recognize different scenarios that transport you to different places in Japan and the world with a lot of realism. Translate it into "universe" in Spanish I think it would not look good, since everything is part of the universe and you can not get away from what you are part of; Space, however, is interpreted as what is beyond the atmosphere of our planet.

The title of the series makes more sense within the main plot where a book with that title is continuously spoken and the phrase "Sora yori mo tooi basho" is said and also with the other reading "Uchū yori mo tooi basho" in different contexts.

Something that perhaps requires understanding a little more literature and Japanese folklore to understand the use that is made of words in each moment. I would interpret it so that when they say Uchū (space or universe) they can indirectly allude to the myth that people who die become stars and go to space as in "Night Train of the Milky Way" by Kenji Miyazawa. And that place is too far from our reach.
