All those who grew up under the mantle of pop culture, without a doubt we enjoyed the legendary Japanese anime created by Gó Nagai, Mazinger Z. Memories of when I was a child come to my mind, and I was heading hastily, and anxiously , to turn on the TV for an hour in which I disconnected from the world ..... nothing else mattered ... my mind, soul and heart were connected to each other in a single objective .... enjoy a chapter from Mazinger Z.
I sang every day the theme of the intro ... even in Japanese ..... my inert eyes towards the TV ..... and the hair on my arms stood up with the sentence: Mazinger ... go! !!! .... For a full hour I was transported to a technological world with mechanical wonders and a large laboratory protected by an invisible barrier that resembled a huge iceberg. Next to this laboratory, a fascinating titan emerged from a large pool, in black and light gray colors, with two crimson fins on its chest, ears yellow metallic tips and on its face a kind of grille-shaped mask similar to a roman gladiator helmet, on which robotic slanted eyes were observed.

On it, a small red ship manned by a young Japanese named Koji Kabuto, with two lateral blades that propelled him towards the sky, becoming the Pilder in the forerunner, with a futuristic image in the style of Jules Verne, of what today day we know as Drone. Later, after a perfect assembly on the head of the great titan and sentence: "Pilder now", merged into a single, crew and robot, leaving to an endless number of adventures and fights against a series of mechanical monsters of ferocious and strange aspect, created by the evil counterpart, his nemesis, an old man of great stature and silver hair and beards of messy aspect, hiding a face that evoked evil ... the Doctor Hell.

Mazinger Z, is the starting point and internationalization of the animation genre called mecha, characterized by giant Robots internally manned by humans, giving birth to subsequent series, but none so significant and with such a large cultural influence for that time. Although it had several sequels, among them Gran Mazinger, Ufo Grendizer, God Mazinger, Mazinkaiser, and it was not until the advent of the technological era in the 90s, with the emergence of the Internet, that there was direct access to these, many of them in their original language with subtitles in Spanish.
In 2009, Gó Nagai brings us a kind of reissue of the original story, called Mazinger Z Impact Edition, with a more technical animation and a more inclined story towards the mythological part, where they explain in broad terms aspects that were not very clear in the original series
Today, for those of us who were part of that culture, we received with enthusiasm and nostalgia, the news that by January 2018, the Demon God returns ... the mechanical giant returns ... with the premiere of the movie Mazinger Z Infinity, giving us the opportunity to transmit to the new generations the Mazinger concept, the endless struggle between good and evil, after 45 years of its creation. Oh! Metallic giant, your no longer so young fans, we look forward to your rebirth.
