Code Geass

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion (Kōdo giasu hangyaku no rurūshu?) Is a Japanese animation series created by Sunrise. The realization is directed by Gorō Taniguchi and the scenario is by Ichirō Ōkouchi (both have already worked on Planetes, another anime of Sunrise). The character design is the result of the collaboration between the studio Clamp, which drew the sketches of the protagonists, and Takahiro Kimura, responsible for the finalization of these designs and creator of those of the other characters.

In Japan, the series began airing on MBS on October 5, 2006 and on Animax satellite channel on November 7, 2006. The series was planned on 50 episodes, but its broadcast was interrupted in episode 23 to resume a few months later. with two additional episodes, July 21, 2007. The broadcast of the second half began on April 6, 2008 on MBS and ended on September 28, 2008, ending the series. Several FVOs were subsequently created. In francophone countries, the series is licensed by Kazé.
