Let's not waste anymore time and jump right into the review of "Kakegurui" <3

"Kakegurui" is an anime that has converted by a manga with the same name by Homura Kawamoto and Tooru Naomura since 2014.

Summary:

Hyakkaou gakuen is a special gakuen. The hierarchy on the school is based on how good you are with your gambles. 

Yumeko Jabami is a pretty highschool girl who has just transferred and quickly, she got really addicted to it. However, this girl does not look like her innocent appearance. She's a true GAMBLING-ADDICTED and willing to pay anything as long as she's having fun.

Characters: 

1. Yumeko Jabami (Seiyuu: Saori Hayami)

A girl who transfers into Hyakkaou Private Academy. She might look like an attractive young lady, but she is actually a "Kakegurui," someone who finds pleasure in taking risks.

Attractive, smooth as silk, and silver-tongued, Yumeko is a natural-born gambler. Gathering the attention of her peers and the entire student council, there's no denying she enjoys the attention she receives. Despite all odds in a gambling match, she somehow manages to turn the tables in the most daring ways, often times using her perceptiveness to decipher her opponent's tricks.

2. Meari Saotome (Seiyuu: Minami Tanaka)

She is a pretty, wealthy and popular highschool girl who is on the same class with Jabami. She always tries everything to make the opponents lose and become her "slave". Yumeko is her newest "prey".

3. Ryouta Suzui (Seiyuu: Tatsuya Tokutake)

Yumeko's classmate. Cowardly and poor, he quickly ends up being treated as Meari's slave , and is called 'Pochi' (a common name for a dog). However, he is saved from this predicament by Yumeko.

Plot rating:

When all the anime are struggling to find a new and interesting plot, Kakegurui must be one of the best anime with fresh new plot. It's surrounded by thrilling scenes make all the watchers can't keep eyes off. It also completed the role to introduce us to a whole new world of gambling and various types of games. 

The anime also mentioned "Cheating", one of the most important problem related to gambling. I just really admire how each characters had their own sad side stories and ways to cheat. Also, the plot is awesome how it can increase the curiousity in our minds. 

On the other hand, the anime include a numerous times of gore and violent scenes. You should carefully consider whether you can stand them or not.

Graphics & Sounds:

I just got 1 thing to say: The characters's facial expressions are AWESOME and a HUGE plus to this anime. I don't want to spoil, there are so so so so many different facial expressions of different characters. Sometimes they scared me but however that's what make this anime so tempting and interesting!

This anime is the combination of the two (i don't know what to call, categories?)- sadism and masochinism but are represented by gambling. I really enjoy watching this anime and definitely looking forward to seeing the new season 2!
