Tatami Galaxy is a show that relied entirely on the message being strong and delivered well. Fortunately, Yuasa delivered. The structure is weird and some of the characters are poorly written. Ozu in particular is quite weak because there's no real reason to sympathise with him.

The Johnny episodes drastically hurt the quality of the show.
