Animés and hip-hop golden age truly were in the 80s and 90s. No other era has had so much growth and exposure to new markets other than the two.

Animés like dragon ball, dragon ball Z, Initial D, Gundam and others were from the 80s. They were also the first selected that were translated to English. Mainly because they had international market that were primarily Japan only the infamous NTSCJ.

The same was for video games. Many pc games were made in Japan in the 80s that had animé style artwork. They were too surreal and far ahead of their time. Video games with animé artwork classifies animé as crossover interactive entertainment. The animés were very aesthetic and a true pleasure to pause and embrace the attentional to detail. Many had settings that were similar to real life with aldut themed context like criminology.

The 90s brought the most successful entertainment franchise Pokémon, one piece, studio ghibli and others.

In combination, the 80s and 90s brought in consumers by the millions. These two decades truly were the golden age of Animé.
