Today's pick in the Daily Anime Pick-Series where I pick one anime each day that I think is worth watching is Seikaisuru Kado!

This is a story about ideals, humanity's advancement and the future.
In the center is Kojirou Shindou, one of Japan's finest negotiators. As he departs on a business trip just after his airplane takes off a cube shaped object appears in the air that continues to expand. Eventually the plane is engulfed by the cube and the expansion stops at exactly 2km in size. While the outside tries to figure out what this mysterious cube is on the inside the passengers meet Yaha-kui ZaShunina, an Anisotropic Being meaning a higher dimensional being. As Kojirou Shindou steps in to negotiate with him Yaha-kui ZaShunina asks for an audience with representatives of Japan. But since the passengers are still trapped within the cube and it takes approximately 2.74 hours for one person to be released the negotiations are delayed until after all passengers have been released.
As the negotiations finally take place Yaha-kui ZaShunina reveals Wam, a device that delivers unlimited electrical power, meaning that it would change the entire universe. Governments of the entire world are pressing Japan to release all the Wams that were supplied by Yaha-kui ZaShunina putting Japan under tight conditions.
Just as the world processes the newly introduced Wam Yaha-kui ZaShunina gradually introduces other devices that have the potential to change the world forever.

This anime is an interesting approach to discuss humanty's future that will certainly leave you thinking. The animations are CGI but not necessarily bad CGI. It is very consistent which makes it quite immersive. I suggest to check out the opening below since it is not only very unique but also very epic in my opinion. As always if you're still not sure I recommend to start watching now and continue if you enjoy it.

Description

Cool-headed and rational, Kojirou Shindou is a government official and master negotiator with a well-earned reputation. While departing on a business trip, a giant cube materializes and his plane is taken undamaged into the mysterious, indestructible structure.

As Japanese authorities attempt to identify the cube's properties and origins, Shindou encounters an otherworldly entity known as Yaha-kui zaShunina, who materializes in the form of a human man. He assures Shindou that the passengers are not in any danger and requests help in negotiations with the human world.

Hailing from a higher dimensional universe known as Novo, Yaha-kui zaShunina is able to transfer information between Novo and Shindou's universe through a cube called Kado. Despite having these unfathomable abilities, he does not appear hostile. Instead, he announces that he has come to this world with only one intention: to "advance" humanity—starting with Japan.
