Daily Anime Pick #2 - Steins;Gate
Today's pick in the Daily Anime Pick-Series where I pick one anime each day that I think is worth watching is Steins;Gate!
Now this anime is widely considered to be one of the best with an overwhelmingly score of 9.14 / 10 on MAL. With this it is ranked #5 in the "Top Anime Series"-Rankings and that is for a reason. This anime is about time-traveling which is a though topic to get right but was executed in a very believable and enjoyable way. Everything that happens has a good reason and will be picked up later in the story. It doesn't feel rushed and has a consistently good pacing. Even the ending wraps up everything nicely which is something that is hard to find nowadays. Chances are this anime will become one of your favorites as well!
Description
The self-proclaimed mad scientist Rintarou Okabe rents out a room in a rickety old building in Akihabara, where he indulges himself in his hobby of inventing prospective "future gadgets" with fellow lab members: Mayuri Shiina, his air-headed childhood friend, and Hashida Itaru, a perverted hacker nicknamed "Daru." The three pass the time by tinkering with their most promising contraption yet, a machine dubbed the "Phone Microwave," which performs the strange function of morphing bananas into piles of green gel.
Though miraculous in itself, the phenomenon doesn't provide anything concrete in Okabe's search for a scientific breakthrough; that is, until the lab members are spurred into action by a string of mysterious happenings before stumbling upon an unexpected success—the Phone Microwave can send emails to the past, altering the flow of history.
Adapted from the critically acclaimed visual novel by 5pb. and Nitroplus, Steins;Gate takes Okabe through the depths of scientific theory and practicality. Forced across the diverging threads of past and present, Okabe must shoulder the burdens that come with holding the key to the realm of time.

The mad scientist is the greatest scientist.. I like how they explain time travel and every possibility.. I guess the anime was made from intensive scientific research.. Even PhD students would find this anime a great help.. so once again proven anime is not just for kids..

I've adjusted my calendar. Are you going back via phone call or time machine? Just make sure if you choose the time machine that you don't collide with a building. I've heard that happened before. We don't want to draw attention.
