Overgeared (2020)

Well I just learned today that Park Saehal's Overgeared seems to have gotten a manhwa/manga reboot, that is starting from the beginning of the story, a new artstyle was made but still follows the same storyline.

I haven't read yet the web/light novel of this series but I remembered reading the manhwa/manga version of this years ago and immediately fall in love with it. The series greatly reminds me of my favourite manhwa ever "Legendary Moonlight Sculptor", another story set on a virtual reality game where players can earn real money just by adventuring on the virtual world. What makes them very similar is the "unique or legendary hidden class" the MC's have gotten due to a hidden quest and their perseverance and hardwork to become the top player.

Anyways, unfortunately after ~28 chapters of the first Overgeared series it was dropped as artist got into an accident or something. Thankfully after a year or two someone (or some group) picked it up from scratch and decided to make a complete reboot of it so we are now expecting at least weekly chapter releases. So far I am loving the 2020 version both in terms of artstyle and the pacing of the story. XD

The reason why I really love genre or storylines like this is because I see myself playing like the main characters on a mmorpg. I love grinding LOL

Also, would it be crazy if in the next few years the quests we get in games are now something like the one below: "Do not logout for 50 hours in real time".
