Goku Absorbs Spirit Bomb To Unlock New Form?- Dragon Ball Super 1 Hour Special

The 1 Hour Special Episode of Dragon Ball Super, is basically going to combine 2 episodes with a bit of extra screen time, and in that, all hell will break lose.

As Jiren- The Grey unleashes the beast inside him, unable to deal with his intensity, Goku will put it all on the line. In this episode, we will see Goku surpassing all previously established limits; Goku will also be more powerful than he was ever before.

Goku will use Kaio-ken over Super Saiyan Blue, just like he used it against Hit, but that was times 10, this time he is doubling it and going times 20.

So, SSB is already an energy drainer, and when you put Kaio-ken over that, it drains almost everything, and when you do it times 20, more aggressive than ever before you are literally giving everything. Image result for Goku Super saiyan blue kaioken

So, Goku after multiplying his SSB power by 20 times must be able to take Jiren down.. Right? Right?

Well, as it turns out, nope! Even this is not going to be enough to take down Jiren-The Grey, that one mortal who is probably stronger than a God of Destruction.

Where does this leave Goku?

So, like It was mentioned before, SSB x Kaio-ken times 20 is putting it all on the line. Kaio-Ken specifically puts a lot of stress on the body, and in a sense starts destroying it. We saw Goku using Kaio-Ken for the first time against Vegeta in the Saiyan Saga, and afterwards he was so broken even a friendly tap in the back from Yajirobe felt painful. Most recently he seriously used it for a prolonged time against Hitman Hit, in the last tournament, and afterwards his body was so broken he had to call quits, and that even was SSB Kaio-Ken times 10.

So, Goku is seemingly left with no energy. How does he come back from this? How does he even get enough energy to get his new form?

Now, from different promotional material reveals, we know for fact, Spirit Bomb otherwise known as Genkei Dama will be involved in this special episode. How he will use the spirit bomb exactly is not clear?

But in a Battle Royal stage, against an opponent like Jiren, the spirit bomb attack as we know it doesn’t really make sense. Firstly, you don’t have to kill your opponent; you have to throw him out of the stage. Secondly, in order for the Spirit Bomb to be effective the guy in the receiving end has to be evil, while Jiren is not really evil there’s just misunderstanding between Pride Troopers and U7.

However, Goku is out of energy in his body and needs to recharge in order to continue, and guess how Goku can gather energy. The Spirit Bomb!

So, according to this theory, Goku will gather all the energy, and then instead of throwing the spirit bomb at Jiren and risk missing him, he will absorb all the gathered energy from The Spirit Bomb in his body. This will not only recharge Goku, but will also unlock the new form, that we currently call the limit breaker form.

It actually makes sense, because the bluish aura we see in the form, could be off the spirit bomb’s and it does look similar. Also, since Goku’s hair is black, it must mean he is using no transformation.

Even though we have not seen this happening, in the series, in one of the movies, Goku did exactly that vs Android 13, when he formed a Spirit Bomb and infused it in his body. It made him dramatically powerful, and he was able to take out 13 with a single punch someone against whom all attacks were completely ineffective against previously.

Anyways we know, Spirit Bomb gathers energy from nature, planets, animals, humans and anyone who is ready to contribute. The Battle Royal is taking place in the world of void, where there is no time and space. So how will Goku pull this off?

Maybe he could do something multi-Universal level where he is able to channel energy from different Universes to the world of void or somehow finds a source of generating energy in the world of void, but we haven’t seen him doing anything like that, going by what we know he can do.

He could probably ask for his teammates to give him some energy, which could in extension include even Beerus and Whis, but I’m a bit confused if any God giving energy allowed or not, the rules are shady and often times even change.

Which bring us to the Zenos. These 2 are easily impressed by fights and different techniques, what if seeing Goku ask for energy one or both of them, I’ll assume the original Zeno raises his hand and gives a bit of energy contribution to Goku’s spirit bomb. If that happens, that’s a game won for Goku, because even a slight bit of energy from The God of Everything changes everything. Maybe that’s what his new form is all about, maybe that’s how he unlocks the new form, and goes beyond the limits of a mortal by the help of Zeno.

The only problem I see with that is, they are not going to end the Battle in that episode, but if Goku gets Zeno Ki, no one should be a match for him, and this should only happen during some kind of a final fight. So, I’m doubtful about things going down exactly like in the theory.

All though it all sounds quite plausible, remember it’s just a theory, and might not come true.
