Naruto Run Events “As Absurd As It Sounds”

Unofficial fan-driven “Naruto runs” have been seemingly gaining popularity in the western world, with the event asking that participants have their arms flail behind them like Naruto characters do as they run – which likely looks quite ridiculous to those unfamiliar with the franchise.

Naruto fans in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and several other countries (except Japan it seems) have been holding these unofficial events to celebrate the franchise’s existence, perhaps serving as yet more fodder for people online to chastise western “otaku”.
