The Reflection Wave One - superheroes
Saiyuuki RELOAD BLAST - battle fantasy
Not much "slice of life" modern-day Japan, it's heavily mixed in with gambling, strange romance, and game shows. No sci-fi/space opera this summer, either.

I have no problem with modern Jp, fantasy.... just something easy to watch for a weekend...
