Muhyo & Roji's Bureau of Supernatural Investigation  or  Muhyo to Rouji no Mahouritsu Soudan Jimusho (japanese name) is a relatively new anime that lately got my attention even though i watch so many anime and my time is limited!

General Info That Mostly Nobody Cares

Let's take everything from the start. The anime comes from a manga created by Nishi Yoshiyuki ,published during 2004 and it's already finished with 156 chapters. If you click on the author and check his other manga you can see he has a unique art style as the character's desings look both very young but at the same time a bit of creepy too!

Now it's time for the anime! The anime came out during 3 of August and will have 12 episodes in total. Till now 7 of them are out and as usual we are talking about 23 minutes episodes (a bit less if you remove the intro & ending :P).  the anime is considered an action one with supernatural elements, comedy and mystery.

The studio behind it is called Studio Deen a studio with so many anime under its skin! Some of the names that you probably gonna know (or at least i hope so) are: Fate/Stay Night, Kono Subarashii Sekai Ni Shukufuku wo 1 & 2 and Log Horizon

Plot 

Muhyo and Roji are the two main protagonists and have an office in which anyone can go if they have troubles with spirit, paranormal activities, ghosts, possessions etc etc. They consider themselves as Supernatural investigators but the general public think otherwise. 

So Muhyo is an 129 cm boy and considered one of the most powerful magic law executors. The voice actor of Muhyo is Murase Ayamu who was the voice behind Luck from Black Clover,  Allen Walker from D Gray Man, Hinata Shouyou from Haikyuu!, Nfirea from Overlord and the list goes on and on! 

Roji or Jiro Kusano (his full name) is Muhyo's assistant who basically is responsible for the whole organization of the office, the marketing and in general everything! His voice actor is Hayashi Yuu

Both of them are completely different characters with Muhyo being basically an asshole who sleeps all day, reading his manga and yelling to Roji and insults the few customers, while the second one is a polite person but weak in his heart as he don't believe in his powers and consider himself useless!

Here is the interesting part! 

Spirits, ghosts, demons and all this exist and Muhyo actually fights them but not like it's happening in a every other anime. No No No don't expect any punches and swords as Muhyo holds always his magic law book which reads and according to the ghosts-demon crime he gives the appropriate sentence. The sentence most of the times has to do with sending the ghost back to hell but each time he summons hellish creatures to carry out the sentencing! 

Is It Worth Watching?

In the first episodes we see random stories of clients that come into the office to get help related to their ghost problems. That's ofc is typical in any anime and it's a way to get introduced a bit to the characters and to see what the whole anime is generally about. 

After those episodes the real plot starts hitting and honestly it looks pretty interesting. I"d say that the anime is worth watching both from the unique art style and the unique way of fighting. All in All it will just be 12 episodes for now so it's wont take long time to see them!

Also i think it's very important to mention again that the manga is finished. That means that if the anime continues for a second season which i hope to, we won't have unnecessary fillers and pauses like we have seen in popular ongoing anime-manga like Naruto or One Piece!
