You know why there are so many Otaku's around the world? It's Because Anime relieves us from stress of real life.
Anime is very popular because it has stories that sometimes we can relate, a story that sometimes we wish we have, a story that makes us laugh, a story no matter how sad we will still watch, a story that makes us love, a story that makes us escape the reality, a story that can make us imagine wonderful things and all.
Anime is like our universe and our imagination, so vast that there's no ending to it. it gives us different kinds of emotions depending on the story/genre.
My personal picks of genres.
1. RomCom ( Romantic Comedy )
Romcom or Romantic Comedy is one of the most popular genres in anime because it captures the heart of the people and at the same time it makes us laugh.
the pic above is RE:Life. a story about adults who regretted so many things in life and wished to go back in their teens to start again. A great story so i recommend you to watch it. (Genre: Romance, Comedy, Slice of Life)
2. Adventure
A very interesting genre that will wake up your blood and inner self.
The pic is from Death March. A story of a guy who got isekai'd or transferred into another world. (Genre: Adventure, Harem, Fantasy)
There are still so many of them but i cant recall them all, I recommend you to watch anime and it might change your life and perception.
