FORGOTTEN ANIME: BLEACH
Bankai! Hi guys! With all this new awesome anime popping out let us try to look back on some anime that has not ended yet but seemed to be forgotten with time. When I mentioned has not yet ended I meant that it is supposed to continue with new arcs yet it was cut off or did not get a new season.
Let me clarify things, first of this topic only focuses on the anime and has nothing to do with manga. Another one is I will not tackle on theories for possible comeback but would only focus on throwbacks. Now to start this all with… Yup you guessed it! BLEACH!
Let’s throw it way way back and I mean the very first episode of the entire series. Who would not get hyped when reminded of the scene when Rukia made Ichigo a Shinigami!? Probably one of the most iconic scene of the entire series and even in all anime. We just witnessed the birth of a new main character that would soon to leave its mark in all of us.
Jump a whole lot of episode and we get this scene to the last arc of the series where Rukia stabbed Ichigo in the back restoring the shinigami powers but this time the power did not came solely from Rukia but the entire soul society with captain and lieutenant class. The scene strikes so much as it gave the same feels as the first time Ichigo became a shinigami.
Mask oh Mask those freaking cool vizard mask! Upon donning the cool vizard masks it sure gave a whole lot of people some goose bumps. Just look at how cool these masks are! No words can explain how awesome it was!
Since we are talking about these cool hollow masks lets jump further with the battle against Ulquiorra when his full hollow unleashed itself! Intense battle with epic character form this scene would definitely go down to one of the most epic fights in all anime. Well Mugetsu is probably Ichigo’s strongest form but I think this one made the more impact. What do you think?
What is anime without bunch of other cool characters! Friends or Foes if they are cool they would most definitely add more flavor to the story. Let’s start from the soul society alliance with the captains. In anime 0th division was mentioned once but little is known to this division so they will not be included. First of is the head of the entire shinigamis, Captain Commander Yamamoto Genryusai who said to have been the strongest shinigami for the last 1000 years. Followed by the rest of captains from 2nd to 13th division. Each captain possesses strong abilities and unique character that allows a great expansion to the story.
Although all captains have different strengths in battle few really stood out because of how their characters are developed and immediately became fan favorites such as Zaraki Kenpachi, Kuchiki Byakuya and Hitsugaya Toshirou.
This time I would like to talk about the villains on this series, clearly bleach has a lot of filler arcs, some are great but others are just okay. So I would like to stick with the main villain of the story, Aizen Sousuke and the elite arancars the espada. Clearly Aizen compared to the rest of espada is clearly on a whole different level but each espada gave all other captains some cool fight scenes and proved to be strong opponent themselves. They also provided their own story to tell and it clearly helped the entire arc to have more depth in it.
Lastly, and personally what I miss a lot with this series is how cool the art on every episode mark is. If there are other anime out there who had the same artistic way as Bleach when introducing each episode number, then they are clearly doing a great job. Each one of these is not simply random graphics chosen, the arts itself in every episode number says a lot about the theme for every episodes.
Bleach really left a huge part on every anime lover’s heart so it’s a shame for it to be left hanging like this. That would be all for this little anime throwback I hope you enjoyed reading. Follow and upvote for more. Thanks guys.
