Best Anime Soundtracks

We all know anime is a visual medium, but very little story could happen without sound. In a good anime, there is just enough music to set the tone for a dramatic scene, or get you pumped for an action scene. There are enjoyable anime with mediocre sound, but good music is 60% of what makes me remember the story long after it ends. It's no coincidence that many of the listed shows are also my personal favorites.

My top 5 anime soundtracks, along with my favorite song in each:

• Puella Magi Madoka Magica - Terror adhaerens
• The Garden of Sinners (Thanatos) - M12+13
• Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World - Battle Dance
• SukaSuka - 獣の進撃
• Utawarerumono - Shutsujin

There are a few others with specific tracks I like, which I will list here:

• Hunter x hunter - Soldier Ants
• Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash - Rainy Tone
• No Game No Life - Yes, My Master My Lord
