Starting this list with the one and only,the most influential movie in anime history is Akira,aired july 16 /1988 (yup that's a long time) this movie was an international sensation,that helped put anime movies on the map,and it's influence is still present to this day.It's action packed movie filled with horror and sci-fi vibes,this movie requires all of your attention,in order to grasp some of it themes,Akira is a very ambitious movies and the quality of the final product is truly superior for it's time,you should definitely watch it!!

The movie follow the adventure of the young girl Makoto Konno a high school student,that gain the ability to travel in time,not the most original concept ever,but the characters are lovable and it's great to see their growth through out the movie.
This movie is not on the same level of the ones mentioned before,but nonetheless it's very enjoyable and worth you time.

A Silent Voice or The Shape of Voice whatever you want to call it,is by far a great ride filled with emotions and moments that breaks the heart,to see the development of the character,the movie feels very real,warm and sad it's a roller coaster of emotions,that definitely deserve you attention.
