Is this season of boogiepop detached from the prior seasons? It seems like a good watch but I wonder if I should watch the other seasons first to understand it, since I am a little short on time I may have to put it on hold if the case is what I have stated.

As for the list those are probably among the most hyped this season, though I can relate to what you've said with DAL III, it seems like jc staff decided to pick up older shows but my memory is a bit blurry so I may have to revisit the prior seasons if I were to make sense of things just like what happened with index. I am just hoping that the animation won't deteriorate over time because the studio seems like overloaded at the moment with too many shows coming up and airing atm.
