Mechagodzilla Will Return in Second Anime Movie Godzilla !!

One of the most eagerly awaited monsters in Godzilla series is certainly the robot version of Godzilla aka Mechagodzilla. The robot-shaped Godzilla became one of the monsters typical of the legendary monster series that became the icon of Japanese culture.

Mechagodzilla will soon again terrorize his audience and Godzilla is certainly in the most recent anime movie from Godzilla.

The appearance of Mechagodzilla itself will appear in the second film of Godzilla anime version entitled Godzilla: Kessen Kidou Toshi (Godzilla: The City Mechanized for the Final Battle). The film will be released in May 2018.

Mechagodzilla himself first appeared in the movie Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla was released in 1974 which became the main enemy of Godzilla. Mechagodzilla was created by the Japanese government to defeat Godzilla. The first movie of the anime version of the Godzilla trilogy was released on Friday, November 17, 2017 in Japan and followed by simultaneous worldwide broadcast via Netflix.

Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters is a 3DCG anime created by Toho Animation and Polygon Pictures. Polygon Pictures itself has previously been successful through the anime adaptation of Ajin and Sidonia no Kishi which has aired on Netflix and received special attention in the international world.

This planet is overwhelmed by the appearance of giant creatures that roam the earth, and the creature king among them is "Godzilla".

For half a century, these creatures were engaged in a fierce battle with each other and with mankind. But humans, unable to compete and prepare to be sequestered from their home planet.

In 2048, selected humans were selected by the artificial intelligence of the central government to leave for interstellar emigration ships, Aratrum in the course of 11.9 light-years for the Tau-e planet in the constellation Cetus.

But when they arrive after 20 years of space travel, the remnants of humanity find the environmental conditions at Tau-e far different than expected and uninhabitable by humans. A young man on the ship's emigration, Haruo has seen his parents killed by Godzilla in front of his eyes when he was 4 years old. Since then, he has not thought of anything except returning to Earth to defeat Godzilla.

With the now-closed emigration door, Haruo and the rest of the crew pioneered the decision to return to Earth even though conditions did not allow them to arrive safely.

Somehow, Aratrum made the journey home in one unity but their home has become a foreign planet. 20,000 years have passed, and a new ecosystem has emerged with Godzilla above the food chain.

Can humans take back the original planet? Will Haruo take his revenge on the monster? The film will be played by famous seiyuu such as Mamoru Miyano, Daisuke Ono, Kenta Miyake, Kenyuu Horiuchi, Kazuhiro Yamaji, Tomokazu Sugita, and Kana Hanazawa.

The film will be directed by Kobun Shizuno (Detective Conan movies) and Hiroyuki Seshita (Ajin). Meanwhile, the story of the film will be written by the famous Urobuchi Gen in anime lovers thanks to writing stories for Psycho Pass, and Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
