• My top 10 : Anime Movies • ☺

Hi everyone!

In this post I want to tell you what anime movies form my top 10 and why they are in that position, although some of you know them very well maybe there are some who don't know one of this movies but never is late to see an anime movie. I hope this post likes you guys and if you cheer up tell me down there which ones anime movies do you like and share your own list!

The case of Hana and Alice

This movie by Shunji Iwai is an example that the graphics don't need to be a painting by Picasso in the animation to catch you because have entertaining characters that make their job and that is to reach you don't get bored. Alice (Tetsuko Arisugawa) is on the town after a while and the first day of school she gets a curse because she broke the seal of Judas, a student that died the last year and was kill for his four wives according to the legend. To discover the true about all of this, Alice go to the Flower's House to meet Hana, who was in the class with Judas. The case of Hana and Alice start when they decide to go and find all about Judas, if he is alive or dead. Is a really funny story even if the graphics aren't so good.

Origin: Spirits of the past / Gin iro no kami no Agito

In a postapocalyptic world, a few hundred years in the future of our current civilization, water is a scarce commodity controlled by "The forest", which has its own consciousness and beings called "Druids" who inhabit it, defend and speak in your name. Agito is a boy who lives in Neutral City, raised from the rubble of an ancient metropolis and whose name comes from the desire of its inhabitants to coexist with The Forest. One day that Agito goes with his friend Cain to steal water from the Forest Reserve, he meets a girl named Toola, a survivor of the catastrophe that ravaged the planet and was cryogenized in a rescue station. Toola and Agito start the adventure to recover the City from The Forest. This movie have a good graphics, great soundtracks and good plot...something futurist but is really interesting.

Perfect Blue

This movie by Satoshi Kon is the first anime movie of the genre Psychological Thriller that I saw and I think that this film is really good making you feel whatever Mima feels in the movie when she saw the comments that people start to publish about her and all the pages that say bad things about her. Mima says in public that she will left to sing and some fans of her get angry and this night when she arrives at her home then checks the letters, including a special one that say "from here I can see Mima's room" and after that she receives an anonymous fax where she is called a "traitor".
In the whole movie you can't stop to wonder who is this person that make the Mima's life so complicated and is captivating from the start to the end.
This movie by Satoshi Kon was the first anime film of this.

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time

This one is really, really great movie. You can see it and see it and see it again (Haha). When you see The Girl Who Leapt Through Time you will be asking for hours or days or I don't know... for a long time if is true that we can leap through time because the characters make to look this very easy and really funny. The principal character is a girl that one day in the middle of her clean time in the school fall for an accident after see the shadow of someone and she push a button that send to her just a few hours before that moment. It's a really nice film and the plot with that epic phrase "Time no waits for no one" will captivating you!.

5 Centimeters per second

Beautiful love story and amazing graphics is the key for make a movie that people will love. 5 Centimeters per second is a movie with a dramatic plot and make you fall in love of the scenarios because they are so well done that is just a piece of art. Makoto Shinkai, is the director of this movie, and I can't believe that somebody make that kind of scenes that you just can say "WOW"...is impressive, is art in all the senses...just beautiful. The film tell us the story of Takaki and Akari, two people that are in love and the life decide to put them so far away and although they try to follow with that romance, don't works so all gets to be worst. The way of the film tell you the story is the way you fall in love, is full of amazing scenes with great lines that make you appreciate time and people you love. Is this kind of movies that go right to the heart.

Princess Mononoke

This film from Studios Ghibli was a home run to the sky. This movie have everything, have action, have fiction, have romance and drama. The Princess Mononoke is for kids and adults, is for everyone. I loved this movie when I saw it...Why?...Is really great story and have good action animation, a really good music in the background that complete everything. The story of a girl that live in the forest and fight with a witch that wants her head. Mononoke fight with her own animals that are like her family for a good common "The Forest". We always see how the boy fight against to the bad mans for the girl but in this case the girl is the fighter, even the boy makes a good job fighting for her, I need to say that she is the badass... They have so chemistry in the movie so you can feel the tense scene when they talk. This movie is captivating and is one of so many good films that Studios Ghibli have. Don't miss Princess Mononoke and enjoy it!

When Marnie was there / Omoide no Marnie

This movie is a really great master piece because everything is choreographed and synchronized. When Marnie was there is the kind of movie that make you get be sad and happy in the exact moments when you must be. The story is about a girl who manages to isolate herself from the world around her and she have the feeling that she doesn't fit and she discover that this is because she was adopted and after that she go to a trip for her health and in that trip she dreams and in her dreams she see a girl of her age. When she go to the dock and while rowing a boat a storm begins and she saw the girl of her dreams there, Marnie, who always is alone in a big house. Marnie and Anna become friends but some things start to happen about Marnie and her past and that will affect their friendship. Don't let to see this movie because is really good! The Music , the plot and the graphics are synchronized..is just a really great movie. Maybe you cry but is normal...everyone cry... (haha)

A silent voice / Koe no Katachi

This movie is from a manga with the same name and was directed by Naoko Yamada. When the trailer was published I read the manga because the plot catch me in the first moment, just because is a really f*cking good story. When you have a story line about a person with a disability and to this you add some bullying reality and you know how play with all that you get a master piece because you reach some points, one: people enjoy the story because is fresh and some romantic and two: people get be identified with this kind of stories because the bullying is a reality in so many countries including Japan. This is the story about a boy that makes bullying to the new student who have disability, she can't listen. When he make her life impossible in the school then he gets the attention of the director and after that his friends start to bullying to him. When the time pass he wants to fix what he did and wants to become in a friend of the girl he intimidated. This is a really good way to aboard this subject and I just need to say that you must see it and you will enjoy it.

Your name / Kimi no na wa

This is a really hit from Makoto Shinkai, when this man make something I just put on my list and see it...and never disappoint me. Kimi no na wa is the film with that kind of scenes that you fall in love of the power of animation, is beautiful and have great soundtracks that give rhythm to the movie and is a piece of art as all his movies, but that one have something that I need to say...that one have a fresh romantic story because is funny and have a great ending. I love it. Your name start when a girl, Mitsuha, who ask a wish to a star and that is living like a boy in Tokyo. Mitsuha start dreaming with a boy from Tokyo after her wish. She dream that she live the days as him. The boy, Katsuhiko, dreams the same thing and all gets be so funny that is really catchy. The story turn on so good when he wants figure it out who is she and what happens with her. This movie will catch you in the first seconds and you will fall in love. Music, animation, characters, story, all is good...all is just an amazing combination that will want you see it two times and after that too.

Spirited Away

The master piece of Hayao Miyasaki, Director from Studios Ghibli, is that kind of movie when you lost your own reality and connect with Chihiro's life. Is original, is captivating, is so creative that you can't no see it, is the film for everyone. If you have children please let them see it with you because they will love it. I saw this movie when I was 10 years old and was the most amazing film that I had see it...I just felt part of the trip that Chihiro does for save the life of her parents. The story begins when she and her parents go through a tunnel and find an amazing hotel that is really big and her parents start to eat so many food as pigs and then they become into pigs so she can't believe it. All pass so quickly so she don't have too many options, go away or stay and ask for a job to a witch who is the owner of the monster's hotel. The witch make a contract and Chihiro give her name as guarantee and now she will be Sen, a worker on the Hotel that clean the bathrooms, all start to be complicated when she left in a ghost and the story will be full of situations that make you love this movie. This epic film won in the 75th Academy Award in 2006 and deserve it because you never will find a better film that this....is magic...and will put you on a real trip.
