(12 pics) - They are actually not part of the Big Five, but for me they are in my own personal list. Of course the Elephant is awesome, but I was much more excited to see the Hippo than spotting a Buffaloe or even the Lion. I love these huge creatures, just chilling in the water but in fact they are one of the most dangerous species on the world, and actually the animal which is killing the most humans. So stay clear away and do not provoke. But watching from a distance is alright. We spend the last weeks in South Africa and did some Safari visits to the national parks in the north and northeast. We went to the popular Krüger Park, but as well to some other private and less visited places like the Blyde River Canyon Reserve, the Crystal Springs Park, the Makobulaan Nature Reserve or Mount Sheba. Here I start with a lidle wildlife collection from the tour.
