For the first time: A whale speaks human language

in #animals6 years ago

The "killer whale" has learned lessons on how to speak human language, according to a video posted in the British Daily Mail newspaper.

The wiki, a 16-year-old female living in a French park, is able to pronounce such words as "hello," "goodbye" and "Amy," and the ability to count to three, the source said.

In the video, you can hear the whale speak like a parrot, but most spoken words can be easily understood.

Although researchers have yet to determine the extent to which Wiki is able to communicate normally, Spanish researcher Jose Abramson believes that "wiki may be able to make basic conversations easily one day."
