Why dogs are great
Aside from the fact its been shown dog owners live longer, there are many reasons to love your pooch. They are always happy to see you. They don't care how late you are or where you've been. They dont mind how you look, and if you smell then you're just that much more interesting.
The simplest things make them happy. They're excited to go outside. They're excited to go in. They're excited when you look at them.
They're loyal. They don't care if you're right or wrong, they're on your side. They dont hold a grudge when you screw up. They'll guard your kids, protect you, and keep your side of the bed warm when the wife sends you to the sofa.
Belly rubs are the ultimate luxury, and they don't cost me a dime. They never get too old to wrestle and play, and they always enjoy the little things.
Tennis balls are the best Christmas gift ever and they may never get within 20 feet of that squirrel but chasing it never gets old.
What makes you love your dog?
It's all about unconditional love. My dog loves me no matter what.
There was a time in my life where I was really depressed and the only thing that kept me sane and not having suicidal thoughts was my dog. He never gave me any lips about what I'm suppose to do and no hindsight remarks.
