That's awesome. They're a great spirit animal! I enjoy watching the coyotes that live near me. They seem to have fun and are playful. I think the notion of coyotes as sinister animals came with the westward expansion of settlers who wanted to farm the land; the Native American stories depict a fun, intelligent trickster and this seems about right to me.
