These ones still haven't stopped laying.

Chickens are the "gateway animal" for homesteader's which means that many consider them to be the first homestead animal that many people get when they attempt to become more self-sufficient. Unlike cows and goats, you can even still keep chickens in a number of cities where other "farm animals" have been banned. Here, we enjoy ours a lot and enjoy the eggs, meat, and chicks, besides the entertainment that they also provide. Enjoy this handful of photos of our boys enjoying the chickens.
