An unidentified animal has been shot dead in Montana by a farmer.

The animal has been compared to a wolf but experts are baffled by it.

Ty Smucker who's a wolf management specialist said "The ears are too big. The legs look a little short. The feet look a little small, and the coat looks weird."

The puzzled experts are waiting for the results of the dna test results.

The online community are calling it anything from a dire wolf, werewolf or big foot. The more logical ideas, state it might be a cross breed between a coyote or a wolf dog breed.

These two weeks a lot of unidentified creatures have been in the news. This includes a mysterious 5ft crocodile-like creature, that washed up in Wales and a hairy creature in the Philippines. This story is the latest in the unidentified saga; I'll post an update, when the dna results are announced.
