My Chinese Crested Dogs
Some four years ago Penny and Jade became part of our family
Their owner was looking to re home them and without hesitation I said yes, we could provide them home and care.
Little did we know about the breed Chinese Crested and that Penny was hairless and Jade - powderpuff.
It happened that Penny is mother of Jade and they've been together always and they are inseparable now.
Penny had a very hard life and she was a rescued dog and the age is unknown. Jade is 7 years old.
Our life has changed ever since we got these little "monkeys" and we do not regret for a second for having them.
They are great companions and looking after them is like looking after a baby. They require constant care and grooming. The bright side is they never shred. Their fur is like human hair. It just needs trimming If they were like two scruffs when we first met them, they turned now into beauties.
When I said they need constant care, it includes the bath and special skin treatment.
Unlike other dogs the hairless are sweating through their skin.
They love to snuggle and they never leave us alone
These dogs were called lap dogs for a reason. In the picture below Penny was helping me working LOL.
