Lymantridae or Caterpillars

Caterpillars are part of the larvae that belong to the order of Lepidoptera. Most of these animals consume plants (herbivores) and insects.

Seen from Etymology, Caterpillars originate from the early 16th century, the name of the caterpillar or the caterpillar itself is taken from an ancient French catepelose language which means cat (cattus: Latin) and pelose which means feather.

So also with what happens with the Lymantridae family (feather caterpillar). The caterpillars are still included in the ever-present ecosystem, the metamorphosis cycle of the butterfly from the egg, into a caterpillar and a cocoon, eventually becoming a butterfly.

But this caterpillar I do not understand what kind. But he was passing in the trees behind the house this afternoon. This photo does not wear a macro lens. It's a photo with a regular camera.
