Atchoum The Cat is Taking the Internet by Storm

Any cat, regardless of it's breed, is overwhelmingly loved by any online community. Cat videos are plentiful and you can always find a cute photo of any color kitten by a quick google search. But a new contender has walked out on the playing field and he's making it big by being perfectly relatable.

Atchoum the cat is a Persian feline born in May 2014, in Quebec Canada. The feline was gifted to a groomer where she took the kitten home to become part of her family, including three other cats! His wacky fur appearance is due to a condition called hypertricosis (more interestingly known as "Werewolf Syndrome"!). The rare congenital condition causes rapid hair growth and thicker claws, a problem that caused Atchoum to be declawed for his own safety! But the cute little guy is healthy and happy as any other cat.

Atchoum's owners should be very proud of their unusual pet. He's been featured on People, Buzzfeed and Mashable and many more news and entertainment websites. He's a ever-growing meme sensation, too!

In addition to that success, Atchoum is the star of his very own children's book titled "Atchoum and Oreo: First Day of School". The book features Atchoum and his friend Oreo (a fellow Internet famous cat from Canada) learning about kindness, friendship and what makes everyone different.
