WOODCHUCK // ROUND-UP
Found out what was digging up and eating the plants in my garden. Mr. Woodchuck.
Yesterday evening found a Woodchuck had made a burro under my garden shed. I set a "have-a-heart" trap in front of the hole positioned so the only place he could go was the trap. No bait necessary.
I don't like to kill anything so this is the way to go.
Checked the trap before breakfast and sure enough caught the critter. Took him due south on my road for about a mile and released in a wooded area. A couple of years ago released 2 Chucks in the same place after ruining the garden.

How cute! Good on you for using the humane traps. I loved watching the release video. We don't like to hurt anything either, we have a lot of rats in our area, but only use the catch and release traps, we're all just trying to survive in this world, aren't we.
We live in a balanced world. Too much of anything throws off the balance.
I also don't like killing animals. Now he will start a new life in his new home 🏡
He / she will find a new garden or lawn to call it's own.
