THE ANIMALS NEAR US - GUINEA FOWL
These little ones are still doing great and growing!
When the @papa-pepper tribe went to help out @richq11, we stopped and picked up some baby guinea fowl on the way back home. In total, we picked up almost thirty.
They are adjusting well to their new temporary home, and we enjoy checking on them and making sure that they have food and water.
They are still very small, delicate, and awkward, so we do not handle them much at all. Mostly we just make sure that they have what they need and let them grow for now.
Eventually, they will live down on the land that we just purchased and help out with a few jobs. The first job we will give them is eating ticks. We have way more than we need, so hopefully these guinea fowl will help us out. Also, we hear that guinea fowl like to announce when people arrive on your land, so they will be able to act like a homestead doorbell for us.
We will keep you posted as they grow and let you know how well they do their jobs!

Congrats on getting that big ol group of keets! Guineas are so cute when they are babies, and my favorite thing about them besides the tick massacring, is the visitor announcement racket! Very cool!

You will be kept busy looking after the chicks, and watching how they grow.
They may eventually become too noisy for your liking!
Oh yes. Eaters of ticks! and hey they are so cute.
I have, here in my house, 3 new chicks, chirping away, growing every day. Love those baby birds!
